Out puppies get lots of love!
Our puppies are registered JRTCA only and can not be sold without meeting their requirements. If you have never owned a Jack Russell you may want to check out www.terrier.com to find out more about this tenacious breed! We love Jacks!
We try our best to match the puppies personality with their new "forever home". That being said, JRT's can be a feisty bunch and aren't for everyone. Please consider this is a hunting breed with a mind of their own.
Deposit:
We do require a non-refundable deposit before any puppy is sold. You can apply that deposit toward another puppy if for instance you want a female and the litter is all boys.

We socialize our puppies with our big dogs so that if you have another pet, they will not be afraid..
Often JRT's are used as working dogs and are courageous, keen, alert and fearless. Cheerful and full of energy, the JRT is eager to learn, confident and very clever. They are faithful to their owners, but, if socialized correctly they love everyone. This breed should not be isolated for long periods of time as they like a lot of social interaction. When they are done playing, they like to be by themselves to rest. However, they like to cuddle on the couch and watch TV as long as they have had plenty of exercise. Aggression and attacks on humans are due to poor handling and training. Problems arise when the owner allows the dog to believe he is the pack leader over the humans and/or they are not given the proper mental and physical exercise they need to be stable. This breed needs owners who are natural leaders and command the authority without being abusive. They must be firmly trained from a young age.
JRT's with passive owners that allow aggressive behavior will become fear biters and can become aggressive toward humans and other animals. If a JRT is abused, they will have similar results. JRT's will not listen if they sense that they are stronger minded than their owners. Learn canine instincts and treat the dog accordingly. Remember, this is a dog and not a human.
With this highly skilled and intelligent breed, comes a drive to have a job. They need somewhere to channel their mental and physical energy. These dogs excel in fun activities such as hunting, racing, Go-to-Ground and lure coursing. Many have been trained to dock dive, retrieve tennis balls or frisbees and many other agility events. They love being part of a family and are good with adults and children alike when properly socialized. They do require a lot of mental and physical activity.
